International School Manila community, would you please listen to me, a student??? I'm also speaking for my friends, who are also very concern and unsure about all these rumors and gossips going around. We are not sure. We, students, play a major part in this school, we give this school a reputation for being a school, we came here to ISM to learn, and yet we don't even know what is really going on! We feel not just scared for this school, which is practically our second home, we are also scared for our future? ISM is considered the best school in Philippines and I don?t even know where I am going to go if ISM ever falls. I think what is happening right now is not a good example adults should set for the students. I mean, Mr. Toze getting fired and escorted harshly out the school on his birthday, the Board of Trustee not having a very CLEAR explanation for firing him, the teachers went on strike, and most students don't even know why there is no school today( Wednesday), all this is so immature! We, students, feel like we are nothing to this school since we are just going with the flow? or we are just doing what we are told to do(not going to school)? or just staying at home and watch our treasured school falling apart every second. We want a voice! We have a voice! But it's up to the board, parents, teachers, and staffs to listen to us? We want to have a say? That's all we ever asked for? I know that in the near future ISM will have a fair solution, but right now that near future is dark and dim, and we can rarely see it? Unless everybody pulls their act together and start acting like brothers and sisters, a community, and not enemies, may ISM's future be bright for all of us?. Please consider this? Thank you?
