please withhold my name. To be frank the rumour mill is on overdrive in ISM regarding the immeadiate and long term future of our school. With no school tomorrow and a teacher "strike" or "walk out" looking ever so likely we have to wonder what is happening to such a great school? only 6 months ago we appeared to have a stable environment (at least we thought) and now we are met with a situation which does noone any good. My opinion aside, how can this possibly be in the best interest of the school? basically as a senior studying to complete the tough IB exams all we are asking for is a swift end to this shocking series of events immeadiately so we can continue our study. If the board had honest intentions or even a reason for firing Mr David Toze then they are very long overdue to come out and give an explanation and one should note that Mr David Toze won the respect of the student body ever since he came to ISM and does not deserve to be treated in this manner. One has to question the intentions of the board to fire Mr Toze on a day when school is in session and students are in full view of Mr Toze being escorted out of the school by security guards. Another major problem seems to be the fact that the student body were not even immeadiately told and this allowed further rumours to circulate further damaging Mr Tozes' reputation in the community. Please the student body is begging for a solution which involves school going back in session whilst maintaining the current level of teaching staff in place. That should be the number one objective and after all it benefits all parties.
