An
extremely concerned member of the ISM community.
It
is not only parents that are worried about the future direction of the
school; teachers are also extremely concerned about the state of affairs
regarding education at ISM.
Our
vibrant school environment has been turned into a very ugly place indeed
in a short space of time.
This
is unhealthy for all concerned.
I
for one do not want my children to see me as complicit in any acts that
are lacking in integrity.
We
all want a decent education for our children. What I am witnessing is
not decent by any definition of the term, in fact recent events have left
teachers with no choice but to support the highly professional leaders
of our school who are experts in education and know when the integrity
of the school is being compromised. The vast majority of children has
been devastated by recent events and is bursting with a desire to vent
their dissatisfaction.
Do
we want our children to be in a school where honesty, openness and transparency
are no longer the rules by which we live our lives?
Do
we want our children to spend their days where fear and uncertainty are
the rule of the day?
