We received a copy of an email written by Robert Sears, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. We recognize the importance of the Sustaining Members to I.S.M. and welcome their participation during these times.
In the current crisis of corporate governance at ISM, we applaud your website for excellence in providing information on a rapidly-developing situation.
We note that of the buttons on the website, there is none for the category of "sustaining" members?
AmCham has been a strong supporter of the American School and its successor International School Manila since its founding in 1920.
We wish to state to all parents, all teachers and staff, all students and all alumni, all trustees and all members of the ISM Corporation that AmCham is a stakeholder of ISM. The American business community has a vital interest in ISM as a school offering high-quality American-style education to the American, foreign and Filipino communities.
In the interest of transparency, there follows a list of 26 sustaining members as provided by the Board of Trustees in June 2006.
